Looking to use the Buzz Pay Subscription plan feature to optimize your monthly payment collections? It’s simple! If you’re not sure where to begin, here’s a guide to help you through the process.
- On the Buzz Pay interface, firstly click the ‘Subscription’ option, followed by ‘Plans’ as seen below. Click on ‘New Plan’ on the top-right corner.
- You’ll then be led to the ‘Create new plan’ page, where you’ll be asked to fill in a couple of details.
Here’s a breakdown of each item to fill in, as seen above:
Enter a name for your plan, which is what your customer will see when choosing a plan option.
If you’d like your customer to enter a special code when choosing a subscription plan (such as a promotional or discount code), enter a combination of letters and/or numbers for the plan code section. You can also click the ‘generate code’ option if you’d like one created for you.
Enter the cost of your subscription plan.
Select a recurrence interval for how often your customer will be billed for their subscription plan.
Select how many cycles you’d like your customer to be billed for. If you’d like billing to occur for an unspecified amount of time, you can also click ‘Until Further Notice’.
If you’d like to give your customer a free trial, specify a number of days in the ‘Free Trial’ option. Otherwise, select ‘0 days’ (zero days).
Select an amount you’d like your customer to pay for an initial set up fee.
Give a summary of what your subscription plan is all about including the plan’s benefits, exclusivity or rewards.
3. At the bottom of the screen, you’d see options to ‘Cancel’, ‘Save Draft’ or ‘Save’, as seen below. If you’d like to complete a few details and come back to it later, click ‘Save Draft’, otherwise proceed to ‘Save’. (We’ll cover ‘Advanced Settings’ in another tutorial.)
That’s it, you’re good to go! You can also create multiple subscription plans if needed.
