What are Collections?

Learn about Product Collections and how they affect your Buzz Commerce Inventory

Collections are a great way to group similar items in your Inventory together, making it easier for customers to browse products in which they may be interested. Think of it as a virtual product display; a way to spark interest in particular products. You can choose to group products in any way you like: they can be the same kind of item, share a category, be new products launched that year, etc. It’s up to you to decide how you would like to use Collections.

For example, perhaps you own a clothing store that also sells shoes and accessories. Collections you may create for your store include:

  • 2022 Clothing Collection

  • Resort Wear Collection

  • New Arrivals

  • Shoes

  • Accessories

  • Black Friday Sale Items

  • Christmas Party Outfits

  • Fete 'Fits

  • Clearance

These collections make it easier for shoppers to find products that appeal to their needs, increasing the probability of connecting them with a product they desire to purchase. It also allows you to direct customer interest to particular stock items that you may be trying to sell quickly.

Where Collections appear on the WebStore Channel homepage are dependent upon the Theme and Customizations you have chosen. On the Marketplace Channel, they are located in the Collections Tab.
