How to Import & Edit Products in your Inventory

Learn about how to Import Products from CSV files, edit your Product Inventory, and edit individual previously created Products

How To Navigate The All Products Table

Once you have created a Product, it will appear in the All Products Table. If you have not already, Add A Product before reading this article. Please note that the All Products Table will not appear unless at least one Product has been added.

To find this table, click on the orange left menu and select Inventory (hover your cursor over icons for icon names to appear). Then select All Products.

Figure 1.1 shows the Inventory menu options


The All Products Table displays your individual Product information at a glance including the Buzz Commerce Cloud Channels on which they are Enabled and/or Disabled.

By selecting the Hamburger Menu (three dots) on the right side and within the same row of a Product on the table, you can perform a range of Actions on that particular Product.

These Actions include:

  1. Edit - Here you can change any information about a Product that you previously created.

  2. View - This will take you to the Product listing live on the Buzz Marketplace.

  3. Duplicate - Make a copy of a Product.

  4. Enable - Completely enable your Product on the Buzz Commerce Cloud.

  5. Enable For Marketplace - Make your Product appear on your Marketplace storefront.

  6. Enable For WebStore - Make your Product appear on your WebStore storefront.

  7. Disable - Completely hide your Product on the Buzz Commerce Cloud.

  8. Disable For Marketplace - Hide your Product from your Marketplace storefront.

  9. Disable For WebStore - Hide your Product from your WebStore storefront.

  10. Delete - Entirely remove a Product from your Inventory. This is especially helpful if your stock has been sold out and will not be restocked.

What Are Those Buttons At The Top Of The All Products Table?

Once you have added various Products, you can use the Excel or CSV buttons available at the top left of the All Products Table to export the data from the table to those particular file formats. This may be useful for some merchants that have a lot of inventory or stock to keep track of their Products offline.

Clicking the Filter button will open a Product Filter Menu so you can easily find groups of items in your Inventory by either Product Type or by those with Sale prices.

Figure 1.4 shows the Excel, CSV, and Filter Buttons

To search for a particular item by name, use the Search Bar available on the top right of the All Products Table. The Inventory Settings Button is located above the Search Bar. Learn more about your Inventory Settings here. Use the Import Products button to upload CSV files containing Product Information to your Commerce Cloud Inventory. To learn more about importing product data, click here. You can also use the Add Product Button to enter more Products into your Inventory.
