How to add a Collection

Follow these steps to add a Collection to your Buzz Commerce Cloud Inventory

The Collections feature make similar products easy for customers to find and will appear on both the WebStore and Marketplace Channels if desired. Learn more about what Collections are here.

This feature requires you to select previously added Products from your Inventory. Please ensure that all your store products have already been added before you follow the steps in this tutorial. For help with adding Products to your Inventory, please read this guide.


Step 1

Step 2

On the orange left menu, select Inventory (hover your cursor over icons for icon names to appear). Then select Collections.

Step 3

Click on the New Collection button.

Step 4

Fill in all fields of the Create New Collection page. Tips include:

  • Add a Title Name that clearly states why these products are being grouped.

  • While the Description may be optional, it tells customers visiting your storefront what kinds of products they should expect to be featured in your Collection. Adding one can influence them to check it out.

  • Upload a Collection Image that fits the dimensions indicated. For help editing your image, please visit our helpful post here.

  • In the Collection Type area, type to search or simply click on product item names that you would like to be included in your Collection.

  • Use the Schedule to add when you'd like the Collection to first appear to customers on either your WebStore or Marketplace or both. By adding a future date, you can pre-add seasonal collections such as "Valentine's Day", "Christmas Collection", "Carnival Sales", and more to have them appear at relevant times.

Step 5

Click the Save button and you're all done!
